Terms & conditions.

The reservation terms that apply to every Mylivery.ca chauffeur booking in Muskoka and across Ontario.

These terms govern all prearranged private transportation supplied by Mylivery.ca. Placing a reservation — online, by phone at +1 647-390-0006, or by email to info@achauffeur.com — constitutes acceptance of these terms. We are a prearranged livery and chauffeur service, not a taxi or on-demand rideshare operator.

01Reservations

All trips are prearranged. A reservation is confirmed only once we issue a written confirmation containing the vehicle class, pickup time and quoted fare. Requests submitted through the booking form or the booking page are treated as enquiries until confirmed.

Quotes are based on the itinerary supplied. Added stops, route changes, extra passengers or luggage beyond the stated vehicle capacity may change the fare.

02Payments

Fares are quoted in Canadian dollars and exclude HST unless stated. Accepted methods are major credit cards and pre-authorised corporate accounts. A valid card must be held on file for every reservation, including account bookings, to cover waiting time, tolls, parking, overtime and damage.

Tolls (including Highway 407), parking, ferry fees and airport access fees are billed at cost.

03Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure a vehicle, particularly for weddings, specialty vehicles, multi-day charters and peak-season travel. All deposits are non-refundable and are forfeited on cancellation regardless of notice given. Deposits are applied against the final fare when the trip is performed.

04Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be received in writing. The following notice periods apply:

Booking typeNotice requiredLate cancellation
Sedan & SUV48 hours100% of quoted fare
Specialty vehicles (Sprinter, minicoach, wedding)72 hours100% of quoted fare
Airport transfers24 hours100% of quoted fare

Deposits already paid remain non-refundable in every case.

05Airport transfers

For airport transfers, flights are monitored and pickup times adjusted for confirmed delays. Complimentary wait time is 60 minutes after touchdown for international arrivals and 30 minutes for domestic arrivals; thereafter waiting time applies. Cancellation notice for airport work is 24 hours.

It is the passenger's responsibility to provide accurate flight numbers. Airport authority access fees and parking are billed at cost.

06Round trips

Round trips are treated as two separate bookings. Each direction is quoted, confirmed, cancelled and charged independently, and the cancellation notice above applies to each leg. Cancelling an outbound leg does not automatically cancel the return.

07Waiting time

For non-airport pickups, 15 minutes of complimentary wait time is included. Additional waiting is billed in 15-minute increments at the applicable hourly rate for the vehicle class reserved.

08Overtime

Hourly charters end at the scheduled release time. Time used beyond that is billed in 30-minute increments at the vehicle's hourly rate. Overtime is subject to chauffeur hours-of-service limits and subsequent bookings; continuation cannot be guaranteed.

09No shows

If the passenger cannot be located at the agreed pickup point 30 minutes after the scheduled time (60 minutes for airport arrivals) and has not contacted us, the booking is recorded as a no-show and charged at the full fare plus waiting time, tolls and parking.

10Passenger behaviour

Passengers must wear seat belts, remain seated while the vehicle is in motion and follow lawful instructions from the chauffeur. Vehicles may not carry more passengers than the licensed seating capacity under any circumstance, and the chauffeur will refuse to depart if this is attempted.

Abusive, threatening, unlawful or unsafe conduct is grounds for immediate termination of the trip.

11Damage charges

The customer is responsible for all damage caused to the vehicle by passengers in their party, including interior, upholstery, trim, glass and exterior damage. Repair costs and lost-revenue downtime are billed to the card on file.

Carpet or seat burns: CAD $950 per occurrence.

12Cleaning fees

Sanitation / deep cleaning: CAD $500 per occurrence, applied where the vehicle requires cleaning beyond normal servicing (including illness, spillage or excessive soiling).

13Smoking

Smoking and vaping of any substance are prohibited in all vehicles. Breach incurs the CAD $500 sanitation fee and, where damage occurs, the CAD $950 burn charge.

14Alcohol & drugs

Alcohol may only be consumed where a licensed vehicle and applicable law permit it, and never by anyone under the legal drinking age. Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. The customer is responsible for any fines, penalties or charges arising from passenger conduct.

15Driver rights

The chauffeur may terminate a trip immediately and without refund where behaviour is dangerous, abusive, unlawful, or places the vehicle, chauffeur or other passengers at risk. No portion of the fare is refundable in that event and the customer remains liable for damage and cleaning charges.

16Mechanical breakdown

In the unlikely event of a mechanical failure we will make reasonable efforts to supply a replacement vehicle. Liability is limited to a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the service, and we are not liable for consequential losses such as missed flights, events or connections.

17Weather & road conditions

Winter conditions on Highway 400, Highway 11 and Muskoka cottage roads can affect travel times. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, road closures, traffic, construction, accidents or other conditions beyond our control. Where conditions make travel unsafe, we may reschedule or cancel; deposits remain non-refundable.

Private, unmaintained or unploughed driveways may require pickup at the nearest safe public road.

18Cross-border travel

For cross-border trips, passengers are solely responsible for holding valid passports, visas and any other documentation. We are not liable for refused entry, customs delays or resulting missed connections, and the full fare remains payable.

19Lost property

Items left in a vehicle are held where found and returned when reasonably possible; return shipping or delivery is charged at cost. We accept no liability for loss of or damage to luggage or personal property carried in the vehicle.

20Limitation of liability

Our total liability arising from any reservation is limited to the amount paid for that reservation. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including missed flights, missed events or lost business, however caused.

21Privacy

Personal information is collected and used only to deliver and administer transportation services, as described in our privacy policy and cookie policy.

22Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
