The Lake Joseph Club golf transportation.

Classic Muskoka rock-and-pine golf near Lake Joseph.

The Lake Joseph Club is a Thomas McBroom design threading through granite outcrops and pine north of Port Carling, long associated with Lake Joseph cottage families and their guests. Mylivery.ca is an independent chauffeur company and is not affiliated with the club — we simply drive many of its guests, member foursomes and corporate golf days.

Golf transportation to The Lake Joseph Club

Every round is prearranged and door-to-door: hotel, cottage or Toronto pickup, clubs loaded by your chauffeur, and a return leg timed to the end of your round or dinner. Groups travelling from the city usually book the Toronto to Muskoka route, and hourly service is available if you would prefer the vehicle to wait on site.

Airport pickup for golf trips

Most visiting golfers land at Toronto Pearson (YYZ)≈ 2h 20m from Toronto Pearson. We also meet groups at Billy Bishop (YTZ), Muskoka Airport (YQA) and private aviation FBOs, with flight monitoring so pickup follows your actual landing time.

SUV and Sprinter recommendations

A luxury SUV suits a twosome or a foursome travelling light. Full foursomes with luggage and larger corporate groups travel best in an executive Sprinter, and a executive sedan works for a solo player meeting clubs already on site.

Corporate golf days and stay-and-play

Tournament and client golf days are run with coordinated multi-vehicle arrivals and consolidated billing through our corporate transportation service, and retreat groups often combine golf with a resort transfer.

Getting here from Lake Joseph

The course sits in the Lake Joseph area of Lakes. Cottage-door pickups nearby are handled as a standard Muskoka cottage transfer.

Reserve your tee-time transportation

Request a booking online or contact our reservations team with your tee time, group size and bag count — we build the schedule backwards from your first swing.

Why golfers prearrange transportation to The Lake Joseph Club

Tee times do not wait, and cottage-country roads are not the place to be checking a map with fifteen minutes to spare. Prearranged transportation to The Lake Joseph Club means a confirmed pickup, a chauffeur who knows the clubhouse entrance in Port Carling, Lake Joseph, and a fixed rate agreed before you travel — plus the option of enjoying the nineteenth hole without anyone in the group nominating a designated driver.

Meet and greet and day-of timing

Airport arrivals include in-terminal meet and greet with a name board and complimentary wait time. For local pickups we build the schedule backwards from your tee time, allowing for bag drop, check-in and range time, and we confirm the return window before you head to the first tee. If the group would prefer the vehicle to stay on site, hourly service keeps a chauffeur and vehicle available all day.

Group, corporate and stay-and-play travel

Corporate golf days and member-guest weekends usually mean several vehicles arriving inside a narrow window; those are coordinated from a single reservation with consolidated billing. Stay-and-play groups pair the round with a resort or cottage stay, evening dinner transfers and a departure run the following day.

Luggage, clubs and comfort

Declare bag count alongside passenger count — hard travel cases take considerably more room than a soft carry bag, and overnight luggage on top of clubs is what most often triggers an upgrade to a Sprinter. Water is provided, the cabin is climate controlled, and wet-weather gear is loaded separately so nothing damp travels on the seats.

Seasonal play and weather

The Muskoka golf season runs roughly May through mid-October, with peak demand in July and August and a busy September and early October colour season. Shoulder-season mornings can be cold and foggy on the drive north, so allow extra time. If a round is rained out, tell us as early as possible and we will reschedule the return leg where we can.

Safety, chauffeurs and accessibility

Chauffeurs are licensed, insured, commercially screened and familiar with the club road network. Vehicles are inspected and non-smoking, and run winter-rated tires outside the golf season for shoulder-month travel. Guests using a walker or folding wheelchair, or who need a low step-in vehicle, should mention it at booking.

Nearby travel and other Muskoka trips

Many golf groups combine the round with a lake day, a Muskoka Wharf pickup or a dinner reservation in Bracebridge or Huntsville. Return trips to Toronto the same evening are common and should be booked at the same time as the outbound leg.
